Cross-country skiing is one of a trail runner’s best allies: it builds endurance, improves coordination and provides a full cardiovascular workout, all without putting strain on the joints.
Through a cross-training approach combining trail running, snow trail running and cross-country skiing, this course offers the chance to mix things up, gradually increase your training volume, whilst significantly reducing the risk of injury.
In a friendly yet dynamic atmosphere, you’ll make effective progress whilst laying solid foundations for your future trail running goals.
Level: Intermediate – you run 2–3 times a week, are capable of climbing 500m of elevation gain per hour, and (as a guide) have a UTMB index close to 400. Technical skiing level open to all
